What we are looking for:
Experienced Product Owner for a Content Management Systems Implementation.

What you will do:
  • Product Vision and Strategy
  • Experienced PO who will drive the strategic functional requirements.
  • Define and manage the strategic direction of the CMS, aligning it with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap, regularly communicating updates to stakeholders Backlog Management
  • Create and prioritize the product backlog, breaking down epics into actionable features and user stories.
  • Ensure backlog items are clearly defined and understood by the development team Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, technology, and business partners to define solutions and roadmaps.
  • Coordinate with various teams including marketing operations, technology, data, and platform teams Technical Leadership
  • Provide subject matter expertise on CMS and content strategy best practices.
  • Oversee the development of technical roadmaps for CMS-related products User Experience and Optimization
  • Champion user experience, ensuring the CMS is intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve capabilities and processes Compliance and Security
  • Ensure the CMS complies with relevant accessibility and privacy standards in the financial sector
     
What makes you a good fit:
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of content management systems and digital marketing platforms
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
  • Deep knowledge of web technologies and the digital ecosystem
  • Familiarity with financial services industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Highly desired: previous experience implementing a content management platform.
  • Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in financial services or CMS domains
  • Proven track record of successful product deliveries in a technical environment

Compensation, Diversity and Benefit Information:
The pay range for this position in Washington is $65-$80/hr. W2 plus benefits; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
