About the role: The Senior Consultant for Program/Project Management focuses on delivering commitments to our customers through focused leadership efforts while utilizing core Project Management Principles. This person is responsible for planning and aligning customer expectations with current capabilities while still maximizing potential opportunity. This role will drive world class service, best practices and consistency throughout the entire area as well as drive progress of multi-project portfolios and will require leadership through the Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling & Closing phases.
What you will do:
Support and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, working closely with key stakeholders, including the C-suite, ensuring alignment across global teams on goals, plans, and deliverables
Help guide on project scope, definition, and performance criteria to ensure alignment with business strategy
Develop and own accurate project timelines, master project calendar, work-back schedules, meetings notes, tracking documents, and other documentation as needed; foresee and triage blockers and issues before they arise
Exercise strategic thinking in prioritizing workload, as well as proper escalation to leadership.
Build and maintain relationships with teams across the company
Serve as primary point of contact for select external stakeholders
What makes you a good fit:
7+ years of experience in a fast-paced organization; experience in large, complex global organizations preferred
Extensive direct project management or related work experience
Excellent organizational and time management skills; impeccable attention to detail
Deep customer focus and demonstrated success building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
Skilled at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
Exceptional written and verbal communication with experience developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
A history of and methods for ensuring accountability for self and others
Strategic mindset with a track record of seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies
Exudes honesty, integrity and authenticity in a way that instills trust and gains the confidence of others
Works collaboratively and builds partnerships with others to meet shared objectives
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate, foster relationships and work cross-functionally, especially with global, diverse teams in multiple time-zones
Highly skilled at guiding and aligning multiple stakeholders towards an outcome
Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and identify trade-offs
Ability to work independently as a self-starter with minimal managerial supervision
Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently
Bachelor’s degree
