Our Modern Workplace Lead is responsible for providing clients with guidance in Microsoft 365 Cloud Services, Modern Workplace and value strategy, digital transformation, process and system governance, security, compliance, and adoption. These responsibilities include performing functions to identify and solve complex business, organizational and technical challenges while defining and improving associated processes. Modern Workplace Leads manage and lead engagements - manage client expectations, provide delivery oversight, and architect and build innovative solutions. Your experience with the entire M365 suite will help guide the customer toward appropriate tools and approaches. Additionally, Modern Workplace Leads play a “pivotal” role as a subject matter expert in the business development process, assisting in proposal development including project estimation, scope of work, success metrics and more.

What you will do: 
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in designing and implementing solutions across key areas, such as technology strategy, cloud platforms, application development, enterprise infrastructure
  • Display expertise in client engagement and the ability to build consensus by modeling technical solutions, documenting trade-off analysis and presenting in diverse group settings
  • Lead client conversations to define, implement, and execute processes to design and build modern cloud-native solutions in alignment with the client’s technology strategy 
  • Lead complex large scale Modern Workplace Platform Modernization transformation projects for our clients and mentor internal talent 
  • Lead governance planning and technical and functional roadmaps and strategies  
  • Provide guidance to a team of consultants in support of engagement delivery 
  • Leverage personal and collective team subject matter expertise to drive best practice-based solutions 
  • Develop engagement specific approaches to Microsoft 365 Modern Work strategies, technology transformations, security and compliance, business application process improvements and continued managed support 
  • Translate customer business requirements into best-practice processes, designs, and solutions   
  • Apply your experience conducting technology analysis on current state architecture, processes, and needs to create gap analysis, requirements documents and deployment plans 
  • Maintain awareness of industry and Microsoft 365 best practices and business levers for the Modern Workplace technologies 
  • Work independently to handle complex problems    
  • Pursue certifications and other forms of knowledge validation   
What makes you a good fit: 
  • Consulting experience required – the more companies or clients you have supported, the better! 
  • 7+ years of experience within the consulting industry or professional services 
  • Deep understanding of M365 ecosystem and products as well as Modern Workplace trends, technical conditions, and future direction  
  • Experience with planning, migrating, and deploying large enterprise clients to Microsoft 365 
  • Experience delivering solutions for client organizations through complex solutions / projects with heavy client interaction 
  • Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other ancillary project members 
  • Awareness of Microsoft MDM tools - Intune, Azure Identity and Rights Management, and Enterprise Mobility Suite 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly build confidence and establish credibility with customers 
  • Proactive individual with strong drive, ambition, and enthusiasm 
  • Proven track record of client satisfaction  
  • Ability to operate under the pressure of strict deadlines 
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge

Compensation, Diversity and Benefit Information: 
The pay range for this position in Washington is $130,000 - $180,000/yr.; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
