Our M365 Lead Consultant is responsible for providing clients with guidance in Microsoft 365 Cloud Solutions, Modern Workplace and value strategy, digital transformation, process and system governance, security and compliance and adoption. These responsibilities include performing functions to identify and solve complex business, organizational and technical challenges while defining and improving associated processes. The M365 Lead Consultant will manage and lead engagements - manage client expectations, provide delivery oversight and architect and build innovative solutions. Your experience with the entire M365 suite will help guide the customer toward appropriate tools and approaches.  Additionally, the M365 Lead Consultant plays a “pivotal” role as a subject matter expert (SME) in the business development process, assisting in proposal development including project estimation, scope of work, success metrics and more.

What you will do:
  • Provide thought leadership on client projects, creating governance plans and technical and functional roadmaps and strategies
  • Provide guidance to a team of consultants in support of engagement delivery
  • Leverage personal and collective team subject matter expertise to drive best practice-based solutions
  • Develop engagement specific approaches to Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure strategies, technology transformations, security and compliance, business application process improvements and continued managed support
  • Translate customer business requirements into best-practice processes, designs, and solutions 
  • Architect, design, and plan large scale migrations to M365, including test and remediation plans.
  • Apply your experience conducting technology-agnostic analysis on current state architecture, processes, and needs to create gap analysis, requirements documents and deployment plans.
  • Update legacy forms and workflows to their modern, cloud-based counterparts, including Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Forms and Lists
  • Maintain awareness of industry and Microsoft 365 best practices and business levers for the Cloud Solutions Practice
  • Create and demonstrate proof of concepts
  • Participate in sales calls and scoping 
  • Stay up to date with technology changes regarding M365 services, security, and compliance
  • Work independently to handle complex problems  
  • Pursue certifications and other forms of knowledge validation 
What makes you a good fit:
Consulting experience required – the more companies or clients you’ve supported, the better!
  • 7+ years of experience within the professional services or consulting industry
  • Deep understanding of on-prem/online M365 products including Exchange, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Groups, Power Platform and Teams
  • Fluent and current on M365 services, architecture trends, collaboration trends, automation, technical conditions and future direction
  • Experience with planning, migrating, and deploying large enterprise clients to Microsoft 365
  • Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other ancillary project members
  • Knowledge of Azure, cloud solutions architecture, related technologies, and interdependencies
  • Awareness of Microsoft MDM tools - Intune, Azure Identity and Rights Management, and Enterprise Mobility Suite
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly build confidence and establish credibility with customers
  • Proactive individual with strong drive, ambition, and enthusiasm
  • Proven track record of client satisfaction within identified Practice area
  • Project experience implementing core infrastructure, networking, and cloud-based services for enterprise organizations
  • Ability to operate under the pressure of strict deadlines
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge
