The impact you will have: As a relationship driven and customer focused professional, you will help us continue providing our clients with the quality of work that they have come to know us by.
Our Data Modelers are responsible for Data Warehouse design and modeling, with a focus on reducing data redundancy, improving data migration, and facilitating optimized data retrieval for our client.
What you will do:
Source data from core and peripheral data systems, creating/delivering Data Warehouse data models including EDW and Dimensional models, and Information Delivery/Reporting solutions.
Evaluate all existing data models.
Assist in improving structure of data warehouse, leveraging both industry standard and application specific models.
What makes you a good fit:
5+ years modeling experience using Erwin (logical, physical, and dimensional).
Have expert knowledge of normalized and dimensional modeling techniques.
Expert knowledge of reference data management.
Strong Data Warehouse, BI, and database engineering experience (SQL Server or other RDMS such as Oracle or DB2).
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to explain complicated concepts in simple terms.
Excellent attention to detail.
