What we are looking for:
Pivotal Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead an enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems selection project for one of our valued credit union clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned consultant with demonstrated success in managing technology selection initiatives within financial services or similarly regulated industries.
What you will do:
Lead the end-to-end ERP system selection process, from requirements gathering through vendor evaluation and executive recommendations.
Manage project scope, timelines, resources, communications, and deliverables to ensure alignment with client strategy.
Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders to define functional and technical requirements.
Develop RFP/RFI documentation, coordinate vendor demonstrations, and evaluate system fit, cost, and implementation readiness.
Present findings, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps to executive leadership and steering committees.
Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to ensure broad stakeholder engagement and decision alignment.
Provide structure, transparency, and proactive risk management across all project phases.
8+ years of progressive project management experience, including enterprise technology or ERP-related projects.
Strong background in vendor selection, ERP evaluation, or business process transformation.
Prior consulting experience or work within credit unions or financial institutions is strongly preferred.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, or hybrid approaches).
PMP certification or equivalent experience preferred.

Compensation, Diversity and Benefit Information: The pay range for this position in Washington is $55-$75/hr. W2 plus benefits; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
