Our Project Managers work closely with clients to define, prioritize, and achieve strategic project objectives. You will be responsible for keeping stakeholders informed, driving decision making and spearheading critical business-technology initiatives.

The pay range for this position in Washington is $50 - $70/hr.; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.

Our Project Managers work closely with clients to define, prioritize, and achieve strategic project objectives. You will be responsible for keeping stakeholders informed, driving decision making and spearheading critical business-technology initiatives.
What you will do:
- Lead a critical project to upgrade client's Oracle Customer Care & Billing environment (application, OS, middleware, database, and physical infrastructure) to the latest version
- Prepare and maintain project plans, status reports, risk assessments, change requests and resource requirements
- Manage a detailed project schedule and budget over multiple delivery periods
- Manage project teams of various resources - company, client, and third-party resources - by providing leadership and work guidance across all phases of the project life cycle
- Customize development methodology (Waterfall and/or Agile) to meet client needs
- Guide change management and manage client expectations
- Recommend and influence project direction and decisions in formal, tailored presentations to groups of key decision makers at the executive level
- 5+ years working experience as a project manager in the consulting industry
- Demonstrated experience managing Oracle CC&B upgrade or ERP implementation projects
- Proven success in leading multi-stakeholder IT initiatives
- Strong background in systems integration, testing, and vendor coordination
- Expertise in full project life cycle – requirements, scoping, managing and delivering - service-oriented business process solutions and optimization
- Experience with project metrics, including data gathering, trend analysis, creation and metrics reporting
- Adept in Clarity, Microsoft SharePoint, Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
- Well-versed in Agile/Scrum development methodology
- Ability to anticipate client needs and identify and implement short and long-term solutions
- A champion of problem solving, active listening, partnering and improvising
- Demonstrated initiative in presenting out-of-the-box ideas, trying new things and challenging yourself and those around you
- Preferred certifications: PMP and/or ITIL
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Public sector / government / municipality experience is a PLUS
- Experience in government or public-sector IT environments
- PMP certification (preferred but not required)
- ITIL certification or familiarity with service management frameworks (preferred but not required)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
