The impact you will have:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Project Manager with 3-5 years of proven success in project management, particularly within the consulting industry. The ideal candidate will hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse consulting projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive successful project outcomes.

What you will do:
  • Project Planning and Execution:

    • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Lead project kick-off meetings, setting clear objectives, roles, and responsibilities.
    • Ensure project execution aligns with established plans, monitoring progress, and addressing deviations promptly.
    • Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities to optimize project efficiency and meet deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and managing expectations.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones effectively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
    • Proactively identify and address stakeholder concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering positive relationships.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:

    • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
    • Delegate tasks and provide clear direction to team members, promoting accountability and ownership.
    • Facilitate regular team meetings, encouraging open communication, and problem-solving.
  • Risk Management and Mitigation:

    • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts.
    • Monitor and assess project risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
    • Anticipate and proactively address challenges to ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance and Deliverable Management:

    • Define project quality standards and ensure deliverables meet client expectations and industry best practices.
    • Conduct regular quality reviews and assessments to maintain project excellence.
    • Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve deliverable quality and client satisfaction.
What makes you a good fit:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) required.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic consulting environment.

Compensation, Diversity and Benefit Information:
The pay range for this position in Washington is $45 - $60/hr.; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
